I am a creative, award nominated and multi-skilled Senior / Series Producer and Series Director with a comprehensive range of broadcast experience and core production skills gained over the past twenty years working for the BBC and leading international production companies / broadcasters within the independent sector.

A dynamic and versatile broadcast professional, I have been instrumental in leading the creative direction of both new and returning series, developing ongoing strands and producing fresh, engaging content for flagship brands and a wide range of audiences, building up a strong track record as a Senior / Series Producer, Studio Producer, Location Producer, Development Producer, Edit Producer (FCP and Avid), Live Multi-Camera Studio / Outside Broadcast Director, Flying Rig Director, PSC / Multi-Camera Location Director, Hidden Camera Director and Self-Shooting Director.

My extensive portfolio of work spans live / pre-recorded studio projects, outside broadcasts and location filming across a broad mix of formats and genres including entertainment series, factual entertainment programmes, documentary and observational documentary series, magazine shows, music and entertainment features, game-shows, comedy, educational programming, dramatic reconstruction, hidden camera, consumer affairs, science, live news studio, pre-school programmes, on-air continuity / presentation, promos and on-air campaigns.

As a Senior Producer and Series Director I can offer both my technical knowledge and practical experience in all aspects of the production process from inception through to delivery, bringing productions to life with style and flair, delivering highly positive and visible results on-screen.

An established and respected team leader with strong networking, negotiation and project management skills, I am experienced in managing and mentoring small and large production teams, technical crews and on-screen talent while maintaining excellent interpersonal relationships.

• Senior broadcast professional highly experienced in all aspects of the production process with a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of filming and post-production from inception through to final delivery.

• Experienced in producing and directing multi-platform content for a wide range of live / pre-recorded studio shows, outside broadcasts, flying-rig setups, hidden camera, PSC and multi-camera location based productions.

• Skilled in taking the lead in format development to create a consistently high-quality product in line with the production brief, meeting the needs of the commissioning executives, channel and target audience while ensuring that all the relevant compliance with editorial guidelines is adhered to.

• Ability to work well independently and to fit seamlessly into existing production teams. I am organised, adaptable, work well under pressure and able to multi task and prioritise production timelines and workloads efficiently and effectively. 

• Significant experience managing and mentoring small and large production teams, technical crews and nurturing on-screen talent during pre-production, rehearsals and filming.

• Experienced with filming hazardous activities including stunts, vehicles, aerials, offshore, underwater and wildlife.

• Substantial foreign filming experience in the USA, Middle East and Asia including inhospitable terrain / environments.

• Extensive BBC training in leadership and technical operation of broadcast equipment including multi-camera studio directing, basic vision mixing, self-editing on Mac Final Cut Pro, practical self-shooting skills using Sony Z1, PD150, DSR500/570 and EX cameras and advanced training in sound and self-lighting.

• Comprehensive experience in all aspects of post production from off-line to on-line, overseeing multiple linear and non-linear edit suites (Avid and FCP), script-writing voiceover, graphic design, audio dub/mixing, picture grading and final delivery of completed projects to commissioning execs.
